Linux OS Installation for Radius Manager:

500~10000      Ubuntu 18.04 Server      16-32 GB       128 GB     i3/i5/Xeon

Note: Make sure you have a good server with appropriate configuration & 24/7 up-time. Make sure is pingable from your server. To store user tracking log for long time, you need a bigger SSD/HDD.

After Ubuntu Installed open new Terminal
to enable ssh follow below commands ( one by one )
sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get install openssh-server -y

Configuration Stage:
Zalpro support team will install our ZalPro Radius online through SSH Service.
Once Radius installed and ready, you can configure it as per your requirements. Please follow all steps in given documents 

They need Ubuntu username and Password  & Remote SSH enabled Static Public IP.

Ubuntu Desktop

This is a preferred way of setting the static IP address on Ubuntu Desktop.

network manager - set static ip - ubuntu 18.04 bionic
Click on top right network icon and select settings corresponding to the network interface you wish to assign with the static IP address.

Next, click on the gear box icon next to your network connection you wish to configure. This could be wired or wireless connection.

Select IPv4 from the top menu.

Select Manual for the IPv4 settings, enter your desired configuration and hit Apply

Restart your network by ON/OFF switch.

Check your new static IP address configuration.


Auto mounting hard disks and partitions in Ubuntu

This guide is tested to be working 100% in Ubuntu 18.04.

Step 1) Go to “Activities” and launch “Disks.”

Step 2) Select the hard disk or the partition in the left pane and then click on the “Additional partition options,” which is represented by the gear icon.

Step 3) Select “Edit Mount Options…”.


Step 4) Toggle the “User Session Defaults” option to OFF.

Step 5) Check the box “Mount at system startup.” Make sure “Show in the user interface” is also checked.


Step 6) Click “OK.”

That’s it. Next time you boot the computer, you should see the partition auto mounted.
